To build your site you will need to know HTML (HyperText Markup Language) Using this language you can create web pages (.html files) also know as static pages. After you create your html file you will then upload it to your hosting account. Your homepage is always saved as index.html. Here is a example of HTML:

<a href="http://www.google.com" target="_blank">Google.com</a>

This will create a link to Google.com that opens in a new window.

Here is a example of a HTML file:

<html>
<head>
<title>Title of Page</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
</head>
<body>

<p>Hello World!</p>

</body>
</html>

This will print out a web page that says "Hello World!"
